After multiple attempts to secure federal funding for needed infrastructure investment within the community, the Chamber, in the spirit of collaboration, organized a Washington, DC fl y-in to advocate for Missoula’s application. The trip included 19 attendees representing local government, economic development organizations and private business.
The investment in this trip helped secure $13 million of BUILD grant funding that will be used to build out a road network, extend water and sewer service and even restore parts of Grant Creek to its original path.
